It's Fall in Texas, and that means Foot...I mean, Playoff Baseball

No one can deny that football is huge in Texas, and that Fall in Texas usually means football. But, with the Rangers making the postseason the last two years, fall has also meant baseball.

I was on a trip to California, as the playoffs were starting, but I made it back just in time for Game #2 of the Texas Rangers v. the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (and it seems that I made it to the better game. The Rangers lost in game #1, but managed to win game 2).

Nick, Michelle and I had 3rd deck seats (fairly close to being behind home plate) for the game and loved every moment of being in the ballpark.

As part of our playoff tradition, we brought Nick's Mickey River's (that he has had since he was two) and my rally monkey.

And basically, we just had a great time!

How could you not have a good time when being at Ranger Stadium?

Thankfully, the Rangers won the series against the Rays. The next series will begin on Saturday, but where and against which team is still up in the air. NY or Detroit?
